Winehouse cancels UK comeback

Amy’s management apologized to fans and promised fans with tickets a full refund. They also said that Winehouse is regretful about this but she needs to close this chapter and start a new one. After a shocking performance at a jazz festival on the Caribbean island of St Lucia Amy was taken to hospital after a booze bender. They say that singing in St Lucia brought back too many painful memories and because of this she can’t face it. They also say that Amy is really upset to miss the show and understands that a lot of people will be disappointed. A pal quotes: : "She is drinking like a lunatic and there was no way she'd be ready to perform. The sun reported that Amy now, after she had beaten her drug addiction, is struggling with an alcohol addiction.

It is really sad to see how an artist Like Amy Winehouse destroys herself. Amy Winehouse is an amazing singer and has an unique voice. But you now can see that it is taking its toll and she is losing her voice. Her performance was really bad and I do not think it will improve if she continues to drink like this. I hope one day she will get healthy and join to sing and to perform.

I hope so Elif, indeed she is a good singer, but no one can help her in such a situation. If someone has decided to destroy her/hisself then there is nothing that others can do about is.

I agree with you, maybe one day she will be able to look back on this period and she can say she has been able to overcome the addictions.

I really appreciate her music but that doesnt change my point of view. I think it will be really difficult for to get back on tracks.
